Kenton Sitch is a contemporary country guitarist/vocalist/songwriter proud father and husband from Saxton, Pennylvania. Sitch got his first electric guitar and amplifier at age 7 under the impression that it was no more than the gift of the year without 'strings' attached. Much to his surprise, the catch was that in exchange for getting him the gifts, Sitch's parents dictated that he had to take formal guitar lessons so reluctantly he agreed. After ten years of formal instruction, calloused, sore fingers and diligent practice he was faced with the death of his guitar instructor. This ignited his inspiration ten fold as he pressed on with a disciplined self-guided study of the instrument and music through college and formed his first of four bands. Sitch has been writing songs since he was a teenager, played three states in his amateur career, performed live more than 800 times so far and has compiled numerous successful studio recording sessions over the years. Most recently Sitch released his contemporary country song produced to a video single titled, "Lover and a Fighter" recorded and produced in Nashville, TN. This song can be viewed on youtube.com and purchased on iTunes currently. Sitch had the privilege to open for up and coming country national act 'Kerry Leigh' as well as rock acts such as members of 'Rusted Root' and 'The Clarks'. Sitch has also had the privilege to play the National Anthem on the guitar at 'Peoples Natural Gas Field,' a Minor League Baseball Stadium in Altoona, PA. Sitch's passion for music has led him to pursue a career as a contemporary country artist. Support him through your presence on his social media and see him perform live at an area stage near you!
